“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life..~Philippians 4:6”
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”~ Colossians 4:2
“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.” ~ Isaiah 61:1-3
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”~ Mathew 18:20

Heavenly Father, Bring comfort where there is grief, hope where there is despair, peace where there is chaos, and light where everything feels dark. Give rest to the weary, healing to the wounded, and reassurance to those who feel forgotten. Remind them that they are not alone, not unseen, not unloved. When answers don’t come, be presence. When the pain doesn’t lift, be strength. When the road feels endless, be a steady hand to hold.
God of compassion, You see the pain we carry—the kind that has words and the kind that doesn’t. You see the hearts that are tired, the spirits that feel worn thin, the people who are smiling on the outside but breaking inside. Draw near to those who are hurting today. Sit with them in the quiet, hold them when they don’t have the strength to hold themselves.
